They want us to stop coal and not use nuclear or wind power or hydroelectric power.

He’s talking to the Saudis etc.
Does he really think the oil producers will be in favour of investing in wind farms?

Britain only supplies 30% of the Saudi’s defence requirements – it’s their insurance against a falling out with the US – I work in defence.
There was only 30 years of oil left 50 years ago, so where does it all keep coming from? The reality is that oil companies are only willing to plan 30 years in advance.

Why isn’t the US building and selling the world’s best electric generating wind mills?

England just installed the world’s largest offshore wind mill farm built by a firm in Sweden…a so-called ‘socialist’ country. Come on guys….we need to leap on this business. If the USA can’t build the best stuff in the world at the world’s best price anymore we’re in bad shape. Besides…think of all the manpower needed to build these suckers. All it would take is the GOP/Teabag/Fox News Party to get behind this. If the Democrats tried to get this industry off the ground the GTFP would shoot it down. If you’re a member of the GTFP get the movers and shakers of your party to get moving on this issue…it’s a winner!
